1. Conducting education in dental radiology based on the latest research and medical imaging.
2. Developing research in the field of Dental Radiology along with interdisciplinary research.
3. Conducting community service and providing analog and digital radiographic imaging services in dentistry.

Description

The Dentomaxillofacial Radiology Department is one of the departments at FKG UGM with a vision and mission in the tri dharma of excellence and in radiographic imaging services both analog and digital. With rapidly advancing medical technology, the use of 3D Dental CT and digital radiography is evidence of progress in the medical field, particularly in dentomaxillofacial radiology. This encourages the active participation of the RDM department in education, research, and clinical activities. The Dentomaxillofacial Radiology department actively participates in interdisciplinary research activities, provides learning activities for students in dental and dental hygiene education programs, and provides services and community engagement.

Departemen RDM mengembangkan penelitian lintas disiplin di bidang pengolahan citra digital serta pengamatan efek radiasi dan usaha proteksi radiasi.
