The second day of the Accreditation Clinic Discussion on 26 August 2025, together with Prof. Diatri and Prof. Anwar, highlighted the performance of the lecturer-to-student presentation ratio. The current ratio is 1:10, whereas the required standard is 1:4, indicating that the number of lecturers in the program is below the ideal requirement. This condition necessitates the recruitment of new lecturers to meet the target 1:4 ratio. If there are part-time lecturers from other institutions, an official teaching assignment letter is required, and the number of part-time lecturers must not exceed 10% of the total permanent lecturers in the program. Final project supervision must be conducted by permanent lecturers of the program.
The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for counseling guidance begins at the Faculty level within the Faculty Counseling Unit, and if unresolved, escalates to University-level Counseling. Student safety must be supported by clear safety instruction mechanisms, referring to national safety standards. Non-academic student activities such as sports and gatherings must be included in the academic guidebook as documented evidence of activities.
International graduates from abroad who wish to pursue specialist programs at FKG UGM must undergo matriculation and campus environment adaptation at FKG UGM.
An inventory of classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and library collections at FKG UGM is required. Fire and disaster preparedness training within the FKG UGM environment is also an important variable in accreditation.
Accreditation preparation requires precision and thoroughness, supported by a solid, meticulous, and resilient Task Force team. Accreditation is everything for a better future of the Faculty!
