FKG UGM and Tokushima University Discuss Potential Collaboration

The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) and Tokushima University held a Courtesy Meeting on 26 November 2024, to discuss potential collaboration aimed at enhancing human resource quality in education. This meeting also marked the initial step in strengthening international relations between the two institutions.

Attended by Dean Prof. drg. Suryono, S.H., M.M., Ph.D., and Vice Dean for Research, Community Engagement, and Collaboration, drg. Trianna Wahyu Utami, MDSc., Ph.D., the discussion primarily focused on capacity building in education. "We hope this meeting opens more opportunities for collaboration, particularly in improving human resource quality in education and research," said Prof. Suryono.

Prof. Kin (Jin) Cheng Hai, representing Tokushima University, expressed appreciation for this opportunity to collaborate. "We greatly value today’s discussion and believe this partnership will bring significant benefits to both institutions," he stated. The discussion also highlighted the importance of sharing experiences and knowledge in building sustainable education.

Both parties expressed their commitment to developing innovative programs in education and research. "Collaboration with Tokushima University is part of our commitment to continuously strengthen international networks for mutual progress," added Dr. Trianna.
