24 FKG UGM Students Take Entry Exam Computer Based Test

To become a dentist, several educational phases must be successfully completed. The Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) recently conducted the Entry Exam Computer Based Test (CBT) on 14 August 2024, at the Dental Learning Center.

The exam was attended by 24 dental graduates from the Bachelor of Dental Medicine program who are progressing to the professional dentist education level. Of these, 6 are male students and 18 are female students. The CBT was conducted online using computers.

Dr. drg. Rurie Ratna Shantiningsih, MD.Sc, Head of the Dentist Professional Program, stated that the purpose of this exam is to assess how well students have mastered the material taught during their undergraduate studies, and to ensure that the quality of dental graduates meets the established competency standards.

“During the CBT, students must answer 50 multiple-choice questions using the eLOK UGM application,” said drg. Rurie.

The Entry Exam is a crucial step in the selection process for students aspiring to become dentists. This exam aims to produce high-quality dentists capable of providing optimal dental and oral health services to the community.
