A total of 208 new students from the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) attended a general lecture on 30 July 2024, at the Margono Soeradji Auditorium. This event was a key component of the orientation and campus introduction program for new students.
Prof. Dr. drg. Regina TC. Tandelilin, M.Sc., was the guest speaker for the lecture. She encouraged the new students, known as Gadjah Mada Muda, to understand and implement the core values of Universitas Gadjah Mada in their daily lives.
Students play a crucial role in the nation’s development. “Since its establishment in 1949, UGM has made significant contributions to Indonesia. As the next generation, you must also contribute meaningfully,” said Prof. Regina.
Prof. Regina further explained that the values upheld by UGM are essentially a reflection of the principles of Pancasila and the spirit of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Therefore, students are expected to unite and strengthen these UGM values to positively impact society.
