About
Summer Course 2026
This summer course focuses on the integration of sustainability principles into modern dental practice through the themes of prevention, innovation, and environmental responsibility. It provides participants with opportunities to explore how sustainable dentistry can be applied in both clinical and community settings, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
The course covers key topics including minimal intervention dentistry, preventive strategies and dental health promotion, sustainable dental materials, waste management, and the role of digital dentistry in improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact. Participants will also gain exposure to real-world applications through hands-on workshops, community-based activities, and field visits. In addition to strengthening conceptual understanding, this program emphasizes the development of practical and analytical skills. Participants will work collaboratively in mini projects to design sustainable oral health solutions that are evidence-based and contextually appropriate.
By the end of the course, participants are expected to demonstrate the ability to integrate sustainability into clinical decision-making and community programs, while also fostering professional responsibility and environmental awareness in dental practice.
