Vision
The Orthodontics Specialist Program of the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada aspires to be an excellent, innovative, and globally-oriented study program dedicated to the interests of the nation and humanity, inspired by cultural values and professionalism based on Pancasila. The academic vision of the Orthodontics Specialist Program is to excel in addressing interdisciplinary problems of orthodontic dentocraniofacial disharmony, being innovative and rooted in local wealth, digital advancements, and bioengineering. A unique aspect of the academic vision is the development of contemporary methods in the treatment of dentocraniofacial malocclusion and the optimization of local resources and high technology to accelerate the duration of orthodontic treatment.
Mission
The Orthodontics Specialist Program of the Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada is committed to professional education, research, community service, and providing orthodontic services while preserving excellent, beneficial, and globally oriented knowledge.
