Adi Nugroho Creates a Platform to Simplify Administrative Tasks

In this fast-paced era, digital transformation has become a key pillar in boosting productivity across various sectors. With ever-evolving technology, many organizations are transitioning to digital systems to streamline previously complex and time-consuming processes. Digital tools offer speed, accuracy, and efficiency that are difficult to achieve through conventional methods. It's no surprise that more and more institutions are starting to leverage technology to tackle daily administrative challenges.

In the context of educational institutions like the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) at UGM, the need for organized and efficient administration is crucial. With a heavy workload, even small administrative errors can impact the overall operations of the faculty. Recognizing this, Adi Nugroho, a staff member in the IT unit, took an innovative step by developing an integrated repository system he named SIRADENT.

SIRADENT is designed to integrate various existing applications at FKG, making administrative processes faster and easier, which traditionally required more time and effort. “Going forward, SIRADENT will serve as a single application that can be used for various administrative needs,” Adi said in an interview on 13/9.

According to Adi, the workload at FKG UGM is immense, requiring a more organized and efficient administration. SIRADENT provides a solution that offers ease of use for students, staff, and the faculty leadership. “Through this website, users will be able to submit leave requests, room reservations, graduation applications, and other services related to FKG UGM,” Adi explained.

Although still in the development stage, Adi aims to continuously improve the user interface (UI) to make it even more user-friendly. With over a decade of experience in information technology, Adi is confident that SIRADENT will be a significant breakthrough in enhancing administrative efficiency at FKG UGM.

This development is in line with the realization of SDG goal 4 Quality Education and SDG goal 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
