This achievement is possible through the implementation of a curriculum and educational syllabus designed to equip future dentists with excellent skills. The education process is inseparable from cooperation and the crucial role of hospitals as educational venues for dental professionals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through this excellent opportunity, the Faculty of Dentistry, UGM, together with the Anak and Bunda Harapan Kita Hospital in Jakarta, established their first collaboration to enhance the quality of education for dental students. Embracing this auspicious opportunity, the Dean of FKG UGM along with a delegation personally attended the signing ceremony with RSAB Harapan Kita, represented by dr. Kamal Amiruddin, MARS, as the Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research, along with the entire team.<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The collaboration focuses on interdisciplinary clinical orthodontic learning related to cleft lip and palate for the Orthodontic Specialist Education Program. \"We warmly welcome and are proud to collaborate with FKG UGM, the oldest university in Indonesia,\" said the Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research at RSAB.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a hospital with a long history since 1979 and adequate facilities, the collaboration is expected to provide a learning environment for students, especially those specializing in Orthodontics. We are also developing interdisciplinary activities involving various dental sciences and have realized this in the Cleft Lip and Palate Social Service in Samarinda,\" said the Dean of FKG UGM.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is hoped that through this collaboration, interdisciplinary activities in dentistry can be strengthened to provide optimal results for implementing Higher Education Tridharma activities. Therefore, this collaboration not only involves the Orthodontics Department but also engages the Pediatric Dentistry Department. It is possible that in the future, this collaboration will involve other relevant departments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The activity concluded with the exchange of memorabilia between institutions and continued with a direct visit to the Healthy Smiles for Indonesian Children (SEHATI) Clinic, one of the outstanding interdisciplinary services developed at RSAB Harapan Kita.
