According to Yosi, many clinics actually face the opposite problem: excessive inventory caused by over-purchasing.\nDiscount offers from suppliers or product promotions often encourage managers to purchase large quantities without considering actual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a result, some materials eventually end up being discarded because they have passed their expiry dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \"The loss is not only the cost of the discarded products. Even small clinics can provide high-quality services as long as they maintain proper patient safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A Culture of Relying on Assumptions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Another issue highlighted during the discussion was the continued reliance on intuition-based decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many clinics determine their supply purchasing volumes based solely on experience or personal estimates. However, this development has also introduced new challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yosaphat emphasised the importance of ensuring the legality and regulatory approval of products used in healthcare services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \"Never compromise on legality. Dental products without official distribution approval pose risks not only to patients but also to clinics and healthcare professionals from both legal and ethical perspectives,\" he warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Products without proper approval may create various problems, ranging from uncertain quality to difficulties in tracing products if complications occur in patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amid increasingly competitive healthcare business conditions, choosing cheaper products without considering legal compliance may ultimately become a liability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \"A clinic's reputation is priceless.
