Traditional marketing strategies were no longer effective. He shifted the approach\u2014focusing on customer understanding, digital marketing, social media, and sales digitalization.\nWithin a few years, the brand recovered and expanded its market reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This story is not just about business success\u2014it is about recognizing opportunities in times of crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cLuck doesn\u2019t fall from the sky. It happens when opportunity meets preparation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An Invisible Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Some might view leaving clinical practice after years of education as a waste. Robertson admitted he once grappled with the same question.\nHowever, he sees dental education as more than technical training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The discipline of solving cases, procedural rigor, patient empathy, and mental resilience all form a strong foundation of character\u2014valuable not only in healthcare but also in business and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cProfession is a foundation, not a limitation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This message resonated with graduates standing at a crossroads\u2014whether pursuing specialization, opening a practice, entering academia, or choosing entirely different paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When asked about the right time to evaluate a career, his answer was principle-based: understand the worst-case scenario and ask yourself if you are ready to face it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Integrity in a New Generation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Amid rapid digitalization and instant culture, he emphasized the importance of integrity.\nLifestyle pressures, prestige, and the temptation of quick gains\u2014including online gambling and digital lending\u2014were highlighted as risks that could undermine young professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ultimately, the session became more than technical preparation\u2014it was a reflection on the meaning of the profession.\nDentists are not defined by the dental chair, but by their ability to solve problems wherever they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n UGM, he emphasized, does not just produce dentists\u2014it shapes problem solvers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For these graduates, the meaning of that message may unfold later\u2014in rural clinics, research labs, or even corporate boardrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Graduation is an achievement.
