The morning sun had barely risen high when a convoy of buses arrived at FKG UGM. Their faces reflected curiosity, hope, and dreams not yet fully spoken. That day, FKG UGM became a different kind of learning space\u2014not merely a classroom, but a mirror of the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 247 eleventh-grade students, accompanied by their teachers, participated in an educational visit to FKG UGM. For some students, it was their first time stepping onto the campus of Indonesia\u2019s oldest and largest public university. For others, Bulaksumur had long been quietly placed in their prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe want our students to gain firsthand experience, to get to know the campus and recognize their life choices early on,\u201d said Principal Hildawati, S.T., in her opening remarks. She emphasized that the visit was not merely an annual agenda, but an educational effort to help students choose their majors thoughtfully\u2014not by following trends, but through awareness of their interests and calling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning from Those Who Have Taken the Path<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story became more tangible when Ayu Asmi Putri Hariri\u2014an alumna of SMA IT Umul Qubro who is now a dental clinical student at FKG UGM\u2014was mentioned. This senior figure served as concrete proof that dreams are more than motivational slogans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow can you follow in the footsteps of seniors who are already at UGM?\u201d one teacher asked, met with nods and smiles. Several hands were raised when students were asked who aspired to continue their studies at UGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that moment, the atmosphere became personal. The campus no longer felt like a distant grand building, but a space within reach\u2014provided there is effort, consistency, and mental readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education as a Process of Becoming<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For SMA IT Umul Qubro, this visit is not the final destination. The school hopes that collaboration with UGM will continue in the coming years, opening greater access to campus exposure and inspiration for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe hope our students will not only become university students one day, but also contribute their best to the nation,\u201d Hildawati concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
