{"id":16085,"date":"2025-11-13T12:05:19","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T05:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/?p=16085"},"modified":"2025-11-14T12:09:01","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T05:09:01","slug":"mahasiswa-iup-fkg-ugm-jalani-ujian-mata-kuliah-dentokraniofasial-wujud-pembelajaran-global-dan-integratif","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/en\/mahasiswa-iup-fkg-ugm-jalani-ujian-mata-kuliah-dentokraniofasial-wujud-pembelajaran-global-dan-integratif\/","title":{"rendered":"IUP FKG UGM Students Sit for Dentocraniofacial Course Examination: A Reflection of Global and Integrative Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 13 November 2025, a total of 20 first-semester students of the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), successfully and orderly undertook the Dentocraniofacial course examination at the FKG UGM campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This examination represents an essential component of foundational dental education, particularly in understanding the anatomical structures of the head, face, and oral cavity as the basis for comprehensive dental practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notably, the examination included international students\u2014one from China and two from Malaysia\u2014who participated alongside Indonesian students. This diversity reflects the global character of the IUP FKG UGM program, which emphasizes intercultural and collaborative learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competency-Based Learning and Educational Internationalization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dentocraniofacial course is a core component of the early-semester curriculum of IUP FKG UGM. Through this examination, students are expected to integrate their understanding of head and facial anatomy with clinically relevant aspects of dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The academic coordinator of IUP FKG UGM stated that the examination assesses not only cognitive knowledge but also analytical skills and in-depth understanding of human biological structures. \u201cWe aim to ensure that every student has a strong scientific foundation before progressing to clinical learning in subsequent years,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"752\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2025\/11\/image-9.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2025\/11\/image-9.jpeg 752w, https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2025\/11\/image-9-300x149.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/30\/2025\/11\/image-9-18x9.jpeg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 752px) 100vw, 752px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FKG UGM Prepares Globally Competitive Dentists<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presence of international students in the examination further reinforces FKG UGM\u2019s position as a globally oriented dental education institution committed to international standards.
