One innovation currently being developed is the use of bioactive resin composite materials. This innovation has the ability to stimulate the remineralization process while combating bacteria that cause enamel damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to research conducted by FKG UGM student Alifia Anandiza F, under the supervision of <a href=\"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/id\/organisasi-fakultas\/dr-drg-r-tri-endra-untara\/\">Dr. drg. R. Tri Endra Untara, M.Kes., Sp.KG.(K) <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/id\/organisasi-fakultas\/drg-wignyo-hadriyanto\/\">Dr. drg. Wignyo Hadriyanto, M.S., Sp. KG(K)<\/a> , titled\u00a0<em>\u201cThe Role of Bioactive Glass as a Filler in Resin Composites on Remineralization and Antibacterial Effects\u201d<\/em>\u00a0, the use of bioactive glass as a filler in resin composites demonstrates great potential in enhancing the remineralization process of damaged dental enamel. Bioactive glass works by releasing essential ions that help restore eroded enamel structures, while also possessing antibacterial properties to fight microorganisms that cause caries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This bioactive resin composite functions as a restorative covering material, improving enamel structure conditions and reducing the risk of further damage. The study shows that the combination of bioactive materials and resin composites can enhance restoration durability while accelerating enamel tissue recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of bioactive materials in resin composites represents an important innovation in addressing safe and sustainable dental restoration challenges. As a result, patients benefit from improved outcomes, while the risk of recurrent damage can be minimized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The effect of bioactive resin composite materials on enamel remineralization opens the way for the development of more efficient and sustainable restorative materials in modern dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>References<\/strong><br><strong>Alifia Anandiza F, Dr. drg.
