The event aimed to increase students\u2019 knowledge and awareness of the importance of oral health care in preventing dental caries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two-day program involved lecturers and students from FKG UGM, including Prof. Dr. drg. Juni Handajani, M.Kes., Ph.D., and Dr. drg. Dyah Irnawati, MS. During the event, students participated in dental health education sessions and basic dental check-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"We hope this initiative will help students become more aware of the importance of maintaining oral health,\" said Prof. Dr. drg. Juni Handajani, M.Kes., Ph.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This community outreach program serves as an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, reflecting the responsibility of healthcare professionals in promoting public health. In addition to enhancing students\u2019 skills in dental hygiene, this initiative aims to instill the habit of proper and regular tooth brushing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3, which focuses on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages.
