The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM), held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the preparation of the LAMPTKes accreditation form for the Specialist Program in Conservative Dentistry. This event took place on Monday, 21 October 2024, in the IUP Classroom, OECF Building, FKG UGM, and was attended by all lecturers and educational staff from the Department of Conservative Dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The preparation of the LAMPTKes accreditation form is a crucial step in improving the quality and accreditation of the Conservative Dentistry Program. During the discussion, a team consisting of lecturers and educational staff reviewed the accreditation form, assigned responsibilities, and ensured that all necessary elements were well-documented, highlighting the program's strengths. Prof. drg. Suryono, SH., MM., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry UGM, delivered an inspiring opening speech, emphasizing that the form should reflect the program\u2019s excellence and help it stand out in dental education. \u201cWe hope this accreditation form can showcase the strengths of the Conservative Dentistry Program at FKG UGM so that we can achieve a better and more prestigious accreditation,\u201d said Prof. Suryono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The discussion involved a detailed presentation of the form, followed by an open discussion on each required component. Task distribution was carefully planned to ensure that each section of the form was optimally completed by lecturers and staff with relevant expertise. The discussion covered aspects such as curriculum, facilities, research, and expected graduate outcomes. Dr. drg. Tunjung Nugraheni, M.Kes., Sp.KG.(K), Head of the Specialist Program in Conservative Dentistry, highlighted the importance of this process in creating a document that meets accreditation standards while accurately reflecting the quality of education in the program. \u201cBy working together, we can ensure that this accreditation form clearly demonstrates our commitment to producing high-quality graduates,\u201d stated Dr. Tunjung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this FGD, it is hoped that the Conservative Dentistry Program at FKG UGM can enhance its education quality and services, achieving higher accreditation from LAMPTKes. This process is a significant step in preparing the program for a better future, ensuring a well-organized and structured approach. The event also underscored the importance of collaboration between lecturers and educational staff in advancing the quality of education at FKG UGM. With strong commitment and solid teamwork, the Conservative Dentistry Program is expected to continue growing and making a positive contribution to dental education in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
