Nail biting allows bacteria and germs from the fingers to enter the mouth, which can lead to infections and inflammation in the gum tissue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changes in Tooth Alignment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, this habit can lead to changes in tooth alignment.
