{"id":10886,"date":"2024-08-09T16:44:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-09T09:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/?p=10886"},"modified":"2024-11-04T20:15:59","modified_gmt":"2024-11-04T13:15:59","slug":"dukung-rekayasa-jaringan-fkgm-ugm-gelar-pelatihan-3d-bioprinter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fkg.ugm.ac.id\/en\/dukung-rekayasa-jaringan-fkgm-ugm-gelar-pelatihan-3d-bioprinter\/","title":{"rendered":"Supporting Tissue Engineering, FKG UGM Hosts 3D Bioprinter Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yogyakarta, 9 August 2023 \u2013 Universitas Gadjah Mada\u2019s Faculty of Dentistry (FKG UGM) held a training session on the use of the BAB 200 3D Bioprinter at the Integrated Research Laboratory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training aimed to maximize the use of the 3D Bioprinter, a grant from the Inter-University Center of Excellence (PUAPT) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, initiated by Prof. drg. Ika Dewi Ana, M.Kes., Ph.D. The tool is expected to support research development in dentistry, particularly in tissue engineering and biomaterials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>drg. Trianna Wahyu Utami, MDSc., Ph.D., opened the event with an official speech, expressing pride in the arrival of the new equipment and the hope that it will bring wide-ranging benefits to FKG UGM and the community. \u201cWe hope this new tool will be useful for FKG UGM and beyond, and we must take care of it to ensure its sustainability,\u201d she said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was conducted by two experts from PT. ITS Science Indonesia, Muhammad Inam and Ade Elfico, who provided technical guidance on using the 3D Bioprinter. They explained that the bioprinter operates by designing a digital 3D model, preparing biological materials such as cells and biomaterials, printing dermis layers according to the design, and incubating the printed product so the cells can develop into functional tissues.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This 3D Bioprinter holds great potential for various applications, including tissue engineering, drug testing, disease model development, and personalized medicine. This technology is expected to offer solutions to future healthcare challenges.
