To provide a fresh learning experience, one program available for students is <em>student mobility.<\/em> <em>Student mobility<\/em> aims to promote international collaboration and cultural understanding, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the field of education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty of Dentistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FKG UGM) has become a destination for <em>student mobility<\/em> for one international student. He is Kohei Hayashi, a dentistry student from Tokushima University, who participated in the <em>student mobility<\/em> program from 18 to 24 March 2024. The student, commonly known as Kohei, engaged in various activities just like students at FKG UGM, including lectures and practical sessions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the academic aspect, this program also highlights cultural exchange. Kohei introduced Japanese customs and traditional practices to the UGM community, emphasizing the importance of cultural awareness and appreciation in shaping global citizenship. This interaction opened new perspectives for UGM students regarding the challenges and educational opportunities in Japan and helped them prepare for careers in dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is part of UGM's efforts to expand educational opportunities and promote sustainable practices within the academic community. The collaboration with Tokushima University showcases the potential of educational partnerships in addressing global challenges, sharing knowledge, and best practices to support sustainable education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program not only strengthens the academic relationship between the two universities but also fosters friendship and mutual respect among participants.
